Pedifix EZ Mornings Plantar Fasciitis Nighttime Stretching Splint Brace
Heel pain is most often related to strain or microscopic tears of the ‘Plantar Fascia’ ligament on the bottom of the foot that connects the heel to the toes. Achilles Tendonitis has similar origins that cause lower calf pain. This unique Stretching Splint helps relieve pain from both these conditions. Specialists frequently recommend this Stretching Splint as part of a treatment plan that includes arch supports or foot orthotics, Arch Bandages, wearing shoes that offer more arch support, calf stretching and rest from athletic activities. Because the plantar fascia ligament and Achilles tendons generally tighten during sleep, pain can be most dramatic in the morning, upon arising. During those first few steps, healing progress made during the night is compromised and these conditions can worsen or fail to improve. The EZ Mornings™ Stretching Splint maintains ligaments and tendons in a ‘stretched’ position throughout the night, so morning pain is dramatically reduced, and healing proceeds faster.

DIRECTIONS
Prior to wearing the Splint overnight, we recommend initial use while resting or sitting, for brief periods of time, until all-night wear is better tolerated. Separate all Velcro® closures. With Velcro closures facing up, and rubberized tread surface facing down, slip Splint onto foot, much like a sock. Opening should expose your heel. Gently secure Velcro around lower leg. Do not overtighten. Next, insert top-of-foot Velcro band into plastic ring. Gently pull to adjust ‘stretch’ and secure Velcro. Do not overstretch, especially during initial wearing. As you get accustomed to wearing the Splint, increase the stretch slightly. Splint stretch should be noticeable, but not uncomfortable.

CARE
Hand wash. Press flat in towel to remove excess moisture. Air dry completely before reuse.

WARNINGS
If irritation, discomfort, numbness, swelling or poor circulation occur, discontinue use immediately. If symptoms persist, visit a foot specialist.
